Today I learnt how to throw clay onto the wheel a la Ghost. Demi Moore however, made it look far easier than it really is. Let's just say I'm not naturally gifted but it's so much fun to use your hands to mould and shape something. I liked the messiness of it.
In the end I managed to make some sort of bowl, though brief was to make a tall cylinder.

IN the evening the Wildlife Trust had an end of year party for all the participants at their Kings Cross site. They fired up the clay oven and made home made pizzas. Yummy. We also managed to find a really cool beetle. Not sure what type it is but it's cool!
