Burmese Coconut pudding
My aunt sent me a recipe for Burmese coconut pudding. It is really simple to make and tastes quite nice!
Recipe:
10-12g(1/2oz) agar agar; colouring optional ; ½ tin of coconut milk ( 205ml); 450ml ( 14floz) water; 110g(4oz) sugar
Dish or plastic box 12 1/2cm (5inch)
Soak the agar agar for an hour in cold water (can bypass this step )
Drain it completely and put it in a saucepan with water. Bring it to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the sugar in and stir it really well so that all the sugar melts; add the coconut milk, and a drop of colour if desired.
Pour the mixture into the dish to set.
It will set into two layers. An opaque layer will be on the top and a transparent layer on the bottom. It would take one to two hours to set.
Cut it into diamond shape and serve when it is completely set.

Mushi Mushi
What is Mushi? It is a fairly simple play on words - movies and sushi - wittedly thought up by my mate Mike. I had never made rolls before but thanks to the great teachings from Mr. Lin on YouTube I felt like a pro. Sadly, feeling like as opposed to actually being like are two completely different things. It was fun though even if it was a bit messy and fishy.

Sushi Tetsu
I got a booking at Sushi Tetsu!! So what is it about this place that makes me want to write about it?
It is quite possibly the hardest place ever to get a reservation due to the fact it is tiny! It literally seats 7 people at a bar and to get a booking, you can only call on 2 certain days of the month and you can only book one month ahead. Luckily I have understanding work colleagues so they understood why I spent one morning pushing re-dial for three hours straight like a total lunatic!
We ordered a Sushi & Sashimi Omakase meal. Omakase literally means 'I'll leave it to you'. It was pretty expensive (£88) but we thought why not! The food was amazing. I found it difficult to slow down to savour the food as it was so good. I just wanted to devour the food!
All in all a great place and experience!

Praha
I just got back from a lovely weekend in Prague, visiting Netty.
Unlike the pre-conceived ideas I had of the city, it is not full of prostitutes, stag or hen dos. If they are there, I didn't notice it. I thought it was very relaxed and laid back.
I was amazed at how cheap things are. You can buy a glass of wine or large beer for about £1. It's so cheap. The average price for a meal was like £5.00.

| The tower with crawling "babies" - also known as Žižkov Television Tower. The apartment we were staying has this creepy tower outside. It's just plain weird! |

Sew Amazing!
I've been on a bit of a 'positive everything' kick and just been super productive. I bought this top pattern ages ago and have been meaning to get round to making it. At last I have finally got off my arse and just got on with it. I bought this material in Singapore last year. It's a Malaysian Batik print. It's a bit of a crazy print but I really love it anyway!

May the 4th be with you
It was May 4th (Star Wars Day) and I was randomly walking down the street when a Storm Trooper was crossing the street, seemingly minding his own business. Since I was in hipster Shoreditch no one seemed to even bat an eye (oh those trendy types - too cool for school). I however, got so excited and chased the Storm Trooper down and begged - ok exaggeration - asked for a photo. May the 4th be with you!!
